Blog posts - take 2!

So, it seems to have been an absolute age since I’ve taken the time to update my website and write a blog post. However new year (financial year – I was a bit slow on the January deadline) means a new start and new habits!

Now that mine, the country’s and the world’s daily life is becoming fairly stable regarding Covid I thought it was the perfect time to get stuck back in with all my ideas and plans for my business.

First off, a slight change. Due to the pandemic everyone was at home with their dogs and not going on holidays which meant that my business became stagnant. I was offered full time hours at my part-time NHS job because as you can imagine it was all ‘hands on deck’. Working within the mental health side of the pandemic meant it wasn’t as tough as those treating Covid patients but there was a lot of new protocols and learning curves to be experienced. Now that government guidelines have changed to opening offices again and foreign travel – dog walking and sitting services are on the rise. However, I have yet to take the plunge back down to part-time hours due to the back log of mental health issues regarding a global pandemic and a slight financial stability fear from myself. This means my availability is mostly weekends for day care and walks but I can still offer overnight stays too. It is always best to contact me with what you are looking for and I will endeavour to help as best I can.

In the future I’m hoping to do this business full time, but I have a few ideas and plans that I need to complete first (unhelpfully put on hold due to Covid).

Now that is out of the way, I’m going to give you a sneak peak of what is to come over the next few months with my new habit of one blog post every month.

· May - I’ll be sharing how to help the dogs and animals in Ukraine during this unpredictable time.

· June – Guest blog post

· July – Guest blog post

Ok, maybe I’m cheating with someone helping me for 2 months, but they sparked the idea to get blogging again with their content.

Hope you all have had a great April!
