Hey, I'm Lydia, an avid dog lover from Totton. I have grown up around dogs all my life and know how important they are in a family unit. I strive in treating my clients as if they were my own. Ok maybe a few extra treats here and there too :)

All our adventures vary; from exploring the New Forest to paddling on the local beaches, meaning your furry friends can run around in a safe & fun environment.
DOGGY DAYCARE

Whether it's keeping your pooch company in your home, taking your doggo on their own personalised trail or your pup joining us on our daily rounds. We can personalise our Doggy day care to suit their needs.
POP IN VISITS

The above prices are based on a 5 mile radius of my home in Totton.
If your location is further afield by an additional 5 miles or less, add £5.00 per day.
If your location is further afield by an additional 6 miles or more add £10.00 per day.

Found Lydia online and I am so pleased I did. She is brilliant with Reggie, and really understands his quirkiness. Lydia stayed at our house for 2.5 weeks while we were on holiday and looked after our big dopey golden retriever Cookie, as well as our guinea pigs and fish. She was fantastic! It was like a holiday camp for Cookie, he went all over the place and clearly had great fun and got loads of love!!! I would definitely recommend Lydia! We can't ask any more of Lydia and the service she provides. She not only understands the needs of our dog but goes that little bit extra to help us out. This makes the service really personal and you can't ask for better than that. Also the updates on how the dog is doing with pictures via WhatsApp really helps reassure us that he's having a great time! RUDY
We had Lydia stay at our house for 3 nights with our dog Rudy whilst we were away. We've never left Rudy before as she isn't the easiest or smallest of dogs. But Lydia came over to meet her on a few occasions before we went away and I instantly knew she was perfect for the job. She took on board everything I told her and I felt so comfortable leaving Rudy in her care. We were updated with pictures and messages each day which I loved! I would highly recommend Lydia to anyone without a doubt and we will definitely be using Lydia's services in the near future. Thanks again you've been amazing!
LUNA & MABEL
Lydia cared for my two whippets over a long weekend and treated them like her own. I was updated with photos of the dogs and messages about their activities over the weekend, which helped allay any concerns I had about leaving them. I will definitely use Tails and Trails of Totton again and would not hesitate to recommend Lydia's services to anyone.
PAPPY
My husband Richard is a little paranoid about leaving our dog Pappy. Whilst we moved house from Somerset to Southampton, Lydia popped in on her when family members were at work. We have used Lydia for overnight stays and Richard was boasting to friends about how our girl was being looked after by 'Auntie Lydia'. We both felt reassured Pappy was receiving the best care.
JACKSON
Lydia visits our puppy on a daily basis. We regularly get photo updates and she spends extra time with him where she can. She has been really flexible with coordinating visits and last minute availabilty. She is always polite, friendly and responding quickly on Facebook! We would not hestitate to recommend Tails & Trails of Totton to anyone and everyone. Thank you for you patience and care looking after Jackson.
HUGO & CALI
Just picked up Hugo & Cali from their second weekend sleepover, both dogs keen to return - shot straight in drive and to the door.
Lydia is great with them especially our eccentric live wire Frenchie Hugo.
Love the home from home approach and regular updates throughout their stay. Will definitely use her again and recommend you all to give her a call to discuss your individual requirements and needs.

POLA
Lydia is absolutely brilliant with Pola, due to his separation anxiety he can't be left alone so she looks after him and takes him all over the place on adventures. He absolutely adores her and she sends me pictures of what they get up to throughout the day which gives me peace of mind he is happy and having fun.
WINSTON & MEEKO
Lydia stayed at our house for a weekend and looked after our Bulldog and cat. Winston was so well looked after while in heatwave temperatures! It was great not to worry about leaving him. I knew he wouldn't be lonely and we had regular updates from Lydia. I will book again and would highly recommend Tails & Trails of Totton.
FRED & SULLY
We never like the thought of putting our boys into kennels (Bassett Hound & French Bulldog) so we were lucky enough to find Lydia. Knowing our boys are at home keeping their routines and they are so happy being with Lydia, it means that we can enjoy ourselves whilst away. If you’re looking for someone who simply loves dogs and knows how to work with them, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Lydia.
RIO
Lydia has looked after Rio since she was a puppy and is like her second mum. Rio is always so happy to see her and we have all been on amazing adventures together. Lydia is very calming when it comes to walking Rio as she can forget her size and can get loud and excited around other dogs. Lydia is patient and understanding plus she has never judged Rio on her breed. She has given valuable advice in the time I have had Rio, from puppy training to recovery from Rio's elbow surgery. There isn't anyone we would rather leave Rio with.
HARLEY & OLLIE
Lydia visits our dogs a few days a week while we're at work. She is very down-to-earth and trustworthy. Harley & Ollie instantly warmed to Lydia - it's clear to see she is a natural with dogs.
